Ayvara Cruise is booked through Komodo Luxury, the company that owns and operates the boat. This site has no booking engine and takes no payments. Requests go to the Komodo Luxury reservations desk on WhatsApp +62 811-3823-875, by email at sales@komodoluxury.com, or through the Ayvara page on komodoluxury.com. The desk confirms availability for the chosen dates, and a 50% down payment then secures the booking.
A complete enquiry states five things: open trip or private charter; the preferred departure date, or the charter length from 2D1N to 7D6N; the number of adults and children, with ages; the cabin type wanted on an open trip (Master, Deluxe or Superior); and the hotel in Labuan Bajo, so that pick-up can be arranged. Step by step
How a booking works
- Choose open trip or private charter, and the datesThe 3D2N open trip is a shared departure priced per person: weekend departures run Friday to Sunday and weekday departures Monday to Wednesday, every week of the year. Under the 2027 publish rates (rate sheet dated 11 September 2026) it costs IDR 6,750,000 (USD 450) to IDR 8,500,000 (USD 570) per person per 3D2N voyage, by cabin type. A private charter takes the whole boat for 2D1N to 7D6N; 3D2N is IDR 104,000,000 (USD 6,200) per charter for 1–8 guests, or IDR 118,000,000 (USD 7,000) per charter for 9–15 guests.
- Confirm availability with the reservations deskSend the dates and guest numbers to the Komodo Luxury reservations desk on WhatsApp +62 811-3823-875 or at sales@komodoluxury.com, or enquire from the Ayvara page on Komodo Luxury. The desk checks which cabins are free on that departure, or whether the boat is open for a charter on those dates. Ayvara has seven cabins and carries a maximum of 15 guests.
- Complete the registration form and pay the 50% depositOnce availability is confirmed, the booking procedure shown on komodoluxury.com asks for a registration form completed with the required details. A 50% down payment secures the booking; the deposit is non-refundable, and bank charges are borne by the sender. Bookings made one year in advance follow a different schedule: a 30% deposit, a further 20% 120 days before the trip, and the balance 30 days before departure.
- Pay the balance 30 days before departureFull payment is due no later than 30 days before departure, and a trip less than 30 days away is paid in full. Cancellations forfeit all payments made, which cannot be refunded, rescheduled or transferred to another trip, although a replacement guest may be nominated. Komodo National Park fees are not included in the fare and follow the government regulations in force at the time of the trip.
- Pick-up between 8 and 9 a.m. on departure dayPick-up is arranged between 8 and 9 a.m. from accommodation within the Labuan Bajo mainland area near the harbour, and drop-off on the last day covers the same area. Accommodation on other islands or in the Manjaga area is not covered, so guests staying there should raise the transfer with the reservations desk in advance. On the published 3D2N itinerary, Ayvara sails for Kelor Island at 10:00.

Flight tickets are not included in any Ayvara fare. Pick-up is between 8 and 9 a.m., so a night in Labuan Bajo beforehand leaves a margin: the booking terms list flight cancellation as force majeure, which may change or cancel a trip without refund.

How can guests check Ayvara Cruise availability for 2027?
By asking the Komodo Luxury reservations desk with a departure date and the number of guests; live availability is not shown on this site. The 3D2N open trip runs every week of 2027, Friday to Sunday and Monday to Wednesday, and the full date list is on the open trip page. Ayvara has one Master Cabin, two Deluxe Cabins and four Superior Cabins, so the choice of cabin type depends on what is still free on that departure. A private charter needs the whole boat free for the dates requested.
Is a last-minute Komodo open trip booking possible?
Yes, provided a cabin is still free on that departure. Under the booking terms, trips less than 30 days away are paid in full instead of with a 50% deposit, and the same no-refund cancellation rule applies. Is the deposit refundable if plans change?
No. The 50% down payment is non-refundable, and a cancellation forfeits 100% of payments made: they cannot be refunded, rescheduled or transferred to another trip. A replacement guest may be nominated instead. Force majeure, such as weather, government regulation or a flight cancellation, may change or cancel a trip without refund.
