3D2N route
The Ayvara Cruise itinerary is a 3 days 2 nights Komodo boat tour from Labuan Bajo with nine stops in sailing order. Day one covers Kelor Island, Manjarite and Kalong Island. Day two covers Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Manta Point and Taka Makassar. Day three adds a morning snorkel at Sebayur Island before the return to Labuan Bajo. Pick-up within the Labuan Bajo mainland area near the harbour is arranged between 8 and 9 a.m., and Ayvara sails for Kelor at 10:00.
This is the published 3D2N Komodo open trip itinerary for Ayvara, with departures Friday to Sunday and Monday to Wednesday every week. Open-trip rates by cabin type start at IDR 6,750,000 (USD 450) per person per 3D2N voyage in a Superior Cabin. A 3D2N private charter costs IDR 104,000,000 (USD 6,200) per charter for 1–8 guests, or IDR 118,000,000 (USD 7,000) per charter for 9–15 guests. Hour by hour
The stops
Kelor Island is the first stop, reached about an hour after Ayvara leaves Labuan Bajo at 10:00. Guests go ashore for a short, steep hill trek and a photo session, with views back towards Flores and the islets around it. Everyone returns to the boat at 13:00 for lunch.

Manjarite is a short sail from Kelor, and the first snorkelling session of the voyage starts at 13:40. Guests snorkel over shallow coral close to the island, using the snorkelling gear and life vests carried on board. Ayvara leaves for Kalong Island at 15:00.

Ayvara reaches Kalong Island around 16:30 and guests stay on board for sunset. Kalong is the Indonesian word for flying fox, and at dusk the fruit bats that roost in the island's mangroves usually fly out overhead, in numbers that vary from evening to evening. Dinner is served on board afterwards.

Day two starts with the 06:00 trek on Padar Island, in early light and before the heat of the day. Guests climb the stepped trail to the viewpoint over the island's curved bays and have a photo session at the top. Breakfast is served back on board at 08:15 as Ayvara sails for Pink Beach.

Ayvara arrives at Pink Beach around 09:00 for about an hour of beach time and photos. The sand takes its pink tint from tiny red fragments of foraminifera shells mixed into the white sand. The boat sails on to Komodo Island at 10:00.

The trek on Komodo Island starts around 11:30. Guests walk a trail through dry forest and savanna, accompanied by a park ranger, to look for Komodo dragons in the wild; dragons are usually seen, though no sighting can be promised. Komodo National Park fees are not included in Ayvara's rates and follow the government regulations in force at the time of the trip.

After lunch on board, Ayvara reaches Manta Point for snorkelling at about 14:30. Reef manta rays are often seen feeding or passing through this stretch of water, conditions permitting, and sightings are never guaranteed. Guests enter the water with snorkelling gear and life vests and follow the guide's instructions, as currents here can be strong.

Taka Makassar is a small sandbar in open water, reached around 16:30 after the sail from Manta Point. Guests step onto the sand for photos and snorkel in the clear shallows around it; how much sand is exposed depends on the tide. Sunset follows on board at 17:30, then dinner at 18:00.

The last morning begins with sunrise and breakfast on board at 06:00. At 08:00 guests snorkel at Sebayur Island, the final water stop of the voyage. Lunch follows at 09:30 as Ayvara sails back to Labuan Bajo, where drop-off is provided within the mainland area near the harbour.

The 3D2N route on this page is the only day-by-day plan published for Ayvara, and the same weather and safety limits apply to a private trip; requests for a different route are a matter for the Komodo Luxury reservations desk before departure. Late arrival on a private trip shortens the itinerary; the charter period is not extended.
